Laphet Thoke is a type of salad popular in Myanmar. The main ingredients are fermented tea leaves (the laphet) and the nuts. In addition to those two ingredients, pretty much anything can be added in it. For example, tomatoes or lettuce are a popular add on. It is enjoyed by all people in social gatherings or as a late-night snack. It’s very easy to make and delicious!
Two cloves garlic
½ cup laphet (fermented tea leaves)
½ cup nuts (mainly peanuts)
⅓ tsp salt
½ tsp oil
Slice the garlic into small pieces
Add the garlic, nuts and laphet, which you can get at a local Chin store, in a bowl.
Add the oil
Mix everything together and enjoy!

Corn 1 cup
Peas 1 cup
Salt ½ tsp
Fy the peas and corn in the same pan
After a few minutes add the pre-cooked rice
After waiting for about 2-3 minutes, add the soy sauce
