On February 14, the Indianapolis Colts announced that they had found their new head coach. After firing the previous head coach, Frank Reich,  during week nine of this past season, the Colts decided to hire Shane Steichen. Most recently, Steichan was the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles. The Colts waited until after the Super Bowl, in which the Eagles were defeated 38-35, to announce their decision.

Colts fans have had mixed reactions to the announcement. Some are excited, while others are disappointed. The Journal conducted a poll for student opinions on the new coach, and asked four SHS students their thoughts on the Colts’ decision.
