On Sept. 17 the boys cross country team competed in the Flashrock Invitational. After several days of rain, the course was muddy and in some parts flooded. Many athletes gave the meet the nickname of “Splashrock” or “Flashflood,” by parodying the name of the meet. The boys won the 26 team invitational race by beating runner up Bloomington North by seven points and third place New Palestine by nine points.
