the Journal REWIRED

Emma Sprague
My name is Emma Sprague. I’m 16 years old and a junior at Southport High School. I am a news and satire writer for the Journal. I’m very proud of my small army of cats that I have at home. I like to think that I'm funny,, but I usually end up laughing at my own jokes and thinking about the awkward silence that follows for an unhealthy amount of time. My favorite musical is The Phantom of the Opera. My biggest pet peeve is when students disrespect teachers. I’m not only involved in the Journal. I also play volleyball and the violin. In my free time I love talking to my pen pal named Aaron, who lives in Germany and helps me with my German. When I’m not doing the things listed above I’m either at youth group or spending time with the people that mean the most to me.
