the Journal REWIRED

Haley Miller
I’m Haley Miller, a sophomore at Southport. I’ll be writing for news this school year. This is my first year on The Journal and I’m very excited! At school, you can usually find me near the auditorium. I participate in Southport’s theatre productions and Cardinal Cadre. At home, I’m either doing homework, playing with my pup (I call all dogs pups, regardless of age), or drinking hot chocolate. I can also be found watching Disney movies with my 8 year old sister… scratch that. Most of the time it’s just me singing the entire soundtrack to Hercules. I always try to experience new things, which is probably why I volunteered to write satire this year! I’m both an overachiever and a procrastinator, so you’ll most likely catch me stressing about an assignment the night (or hour) before it’s due. Some things I love: The Office, thunderstorms, Billy Joel, airports, Broadway, orchids, Harry Potter, and the color blue.
