The Journal Rewired

Kelsey Jones
Hey! I’m Kelsey, and I am a sophomore at SHS. I’m on The Journal staff, and I’m a writer for the sports section. I am also in marching band, RDM, as a director, softball, best buddies, and I’m in Adapted Physical Education all at SHS. I am also into painting and spray painting. I have painted a city and a subway on my wall, and have made several other pictures with spray painting. At home, I’m normally with my family or with one of my nineteen pets. The thing that means the most to me is my family. For the last three years I have lost someone very close to me. In 2016 I lost my 18-year-old cousin, to ovarian cancer. In 2017 I lost my uncle who was my best friend, to lung cancer, and in 2018 I lost my grandma to alzheimer's. Losing them was the hardest thing I’ve been through, but now I’m just pushing myself to be who they’d want me to be!
