The Journal Rewired

Grace Elder
Hello! I am Grace Elder and you probably clicked on this to learn a little bit about me. I am a sophomore and a Features Reporter with The Journal. I am definitely excited about this school year and what the future holds. Outside of school I really enjoy embroidery, knitting, photography, and all the other little artsy things in life. I have been taking photos for my church youth group and running their social media pages for the last two years. My mother was a photographer for almost 10 years, and I was always so fascinated growing up watching her do that. I have two older brothers, two loving parents who were middle school sweethearts and a sassy little Shih Tzu Maltese named Molly Sue. I spent this summer camping, going to the lake with family and friends, and boating on Whatsbar Lake and on the Tennessee River in Tennessee. My favorite TV show is “The Office” and my favorite movie is “Clueless.” I am very thankful to have a part in such an amazing team this year! I look forward to sharing with you what the staff produces this year!
