Niang Lun

Niang Lun, Social Media Specialist

Hi everyone! My name is Niang Lun, and this is my second year on The Journal staff. I am currently a junior and I amthe Social Media Specialist this year! I am bursting with excitement since I have so many ideas on how we can make our social media platforms more engaging and fun for everyone. My main goal is to make everything look aesthetically pleasing. I am technologically savvy, and I am sort of an expert when it comes to things like editing, videography, content creation, etc. I have a good eye for visually pleasing things and I know how to capture a good moment. I’ve been a hardcore music listener and will continue to be. Some of my favorite artists are, without a doubt, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, A$AP Rocky, Metro Boomin, and many other artists. I am a lover of clothing and fashion, even though I am a cheapskate, I find ways to spend all my money on thrifting. I am so excited to introduce new and creative ideas to our social media and ultimately help improve digital journalism.

The food court in the mall can be seen with no one in sight on Aug. 12. After the mass shooting at the mall, an empty food court was a common sight.
