Kanye West: an American rapper, producer, fashion designer and not to mention, the husband of reality TV star, Kim Kardashian.

Over the past decade, West has been influential to the public eye. From his highly controversial moments to the albums that leave you questioning what goes on inside his head, this leaves most wondering as to what inspires West to do what it is he does.

Perhaps you may know West from his infamous controversial moment at the MTV music awards back in 2009, where he called out Taylor Swift by saying that Beyoncé had one of the best videos “of all time.” It is speculated that West might have said this because of his public, close friendship with Beyoncé.

West recently released his 8th studio album, “Ye,” which only has seven songs. It definitely left me questioning whether or not he is okay because of the dark tone throughout the album. Not only do I like this album, but I have liked most of his music in the past. In my opinion, West is someone who likes to speak his mind and doesn’t care what people think of him. In some instances in the past, this has caused him to receive a massive amount of hate, but he really doesn’t let it get to his head by remaining confident and I admire that. Speaking of the album, he has one specific song called, “I thought about killing you.” This song intrigued me a lot and I wanted to give it a listen. West talks about how he “seriously thought” about killing someone, which I think is a pretty bold thing to write about in a song.

I also referenced the fact that West is a fashion designer, which I am so fascinated with. West is best known for his extremely expensive shoes famously known as, “Yeezys,” which are branded by Adidas. West, as you may know is very bold with his fashion sense, being a shoe designer, he recently designed glow-in-the-dark shoes for his daughter North which I think is adorable and so sweet. Besides shoes, West  also has a clothing line on his website, “Yeezy Supply,” which includes items such as tops, sweatshirts, bottoms, outerwear, footwear and accessories such as socks.

I personally am infatuated with West and his way of life, he has such a fulfilling life style from his music, family and successful business. I believe he is going to take over the world, on account of his high following on social media and influence in the pop culture world.
