“CNN sucks! CNN sucks! CNN sucks!” chanted thousands of Trump supporters in the SHS Fieldhouse on Nov. 2.

I attended the rally held for Mike Braun, which President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence also attended. I was there to observe the crowd and share my experience.

After sitting among the thousands of other attendees, I immediately got the feeling of being at a big concert. There was loud music, people dancing and singing, chanting and a lot of people hanging out with their friends.

When the political figures began their speeches, it seemed that all the crowd members were on the same page. It seemed that everyone chanted with everyone else, no matter if it was positive or negative.

“USA! USA! USA!” the crowd chanted.

It seemed to me that the crowd was united and passionate about almost everything they did, whether it was praising Republicans or bashing Democrats.
