Homecoming Guide
A few ways to ensure you’re ready for the dance
As you may know, homecoming is just around the corner. This can be an exciting event, however, it can also be a bit nerve-racking. But, there is no need to be stressed, there are ways to sufficiently prepare for homecoming and still enjoy it!
First of all, you will need a ticket to get into the dance. Tickets are $6 using this link. Sept. 16 is your last day to get your ticket for $6. If you cannot purchase the ticket before the dance on Saturday, September 17th, you can pay $10 at the doors to get into the dance.
Homecoming will last from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Cardinal Stadium. Don’t forget to bring your Student ID with you, as it is required to enter the dance. Also, since the dance is at Cardinal Stadium, please remember to not wear high heels as it can damage the turf.
Are you having trouble finding what to wear? If so, common places to shop for dresses are Windsor, Sophia’s Bridal, Macy’s and Von Maur. As for suits, you can find them at Kohls, Macy’s, Express, Louie’s and Men’s Wearhouse. There are so many different styles and options to choose from, so make sure whatever you pick suits you!
Now that you know the basics, you will need to figure out who to go with. No, this does not mean you have to have a date. You can go with your closest group of friends and enjoy the dance. Or, if you have a date, you can go with them and have a great time. Regardless, whoever you go with should be someone you can have fun and dance with!
With a ticket, your Student ID, a perfect outfit, great company to go with, you are ready for the dance! It is time to see all of your hard work and planning pay off. You only have so many homecomings during high school, and you want to make it a memorable experience.
