When an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object one object has to lose the battle. The same goes for two undefeated rivals in SHS and Perry Meridian.

Both teams have played Mooresville, Roncalli and Franklin Community. Southport beat Mooresville and Roncalli and tied Franklin Community. Perry Meridian beat all three opponents.

“Both teams are very similar and have played common opponents and pulled similar results,” Coach Josh Brown said.

According to Brown, the Cards are better organized and have one of the top players in the state on their team. Even then, Brown thinks the game will be close and exciting.

The game will be played after the JV game ends at the Mary Bryan soccer fields.
