The girls golf team at SHS that is made up mostly of underclassmen, have acquired the brand new coach, Jeff Adamson, this year. Adamson has been playing golf himself since middle school and continued  through all four years of his high school career. Although this is his first year as a head coach, Adamson has been an assistant coach at a few high schools before SHS. He also coached for a PGA junior team.

“As far as coming to a new school and not having a huge turnout, while most people would say it’s not an ideal situation, I have a dedicated group of girls that work very hard and are great building blocks for the future of the program,” Adamson wrote in an email to The Journal.
