The girls cross country team achieved great success this season. They haven’t won the sectional title since 1994, but finally they got the title this season.  The team captain, senior Christy Dean says winning the sectional was the biggest event in this season.

“We definitely had a lot of success this year, “ Dean said. “I really enjoyed this season.”

Dean says that the team was improved from last year and became a stronger team.

Also, coach Nathan Fishel says that this was a successful season and he enjoyed this season. The biggest event for him was winning the sectional title as well.

“I really wanted to try to win (the sectional title),” Fishel said. “And we had done that in a while.”
