With school ending soon, summer break is a time for high schoolers, and anyone of a younger age, to start looking for part time jobs. The search can begin or continue on Monday, March 6, at Congressman André Carson’s (IN-7-D) fourth annual Youth Opportunities Fair. There will be employers looking to show youth of all ages more opportunities for internships and jobs. It will be held from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 40 E. St. Clair Street in the central library. Students and parents of students looking for summer jobs are invited to attend.

“It’s just a great opportunity all around for our students to gain more knowledge, more understanding,” said guidance counselor Brianna Underwood, “and just to have a good time.”
