The owner of Greenwood ice cream shop Mrs. Curl, John Cassin, is looking to expand his business. With the current building planned to remain with a different and unspecified use, Cassin has been working with the mayor of Greenwood to reserve two city-owned parking lots in Greenwood for new indoor installments of Mrs. Curl.

“Working with city officials, we’re exploring how to best serve the community-both now and in the future,” Cassin said to WISHTV. “It’s been a great collaboration thus far, and we look forward to sharing additional details as the process moves forward.”

Cassin hopes for the new location to feature year-round seating indoors and an outdoor playground.
