Hello! I’m Ava, and I’m a Features writer on The Journal. While taking Journalism my freshman year, I got a great taste of how much I loved journalistic writing! Fortunately, I have the incredible opportunity to express that on The Journal this year as a sophomore. Besides being on The Journal, I’m also involved in Advanced Orchestra and International Club. In my free time, I love reading and listening to Taylor Swift (reading rom-coms and listening to Taylor is the perfect combination.) After high school, I aspire to double major in psychology and journalism. As a Features writer, I hope to bring out peoples’ voices in my writing, and I’m so excited to display that in my future stories.
