Hi! My name is Ella Thompson, and I am a sophomore this year, and it is my first year on The Journal as a Lifestyle writer. I took the full-year journalism class my freshman year and loved it so much that I decided to join The Journal this year. I am looking forward to making new friends and writing stories for The Journal this year. Outside of The Journal, I am on the Unified Flag Football team and the Unified Track and Field team. I enjoy hanging out with my friends,  babysitting, camping and hiking. Another thing about me is that I am a Girl Scout, so I take the role of a leader. Every year, I am a camp aide and assist with second graders for a week at Dellwood Girl Scout Camp. I have learned valuable skills from being a Girl Scout and a camp aide. I am so excited to see what this year will bring; see you all later!
