SHS math teacher Isaac Oldton has scheduled for his classes to have a “bring your enthusiasm to class day” on March 14. He says he planned such an event because he’s noticed that his students seem to have a tough time “going mad for mathematics.”

“I don’t get how these kids could think that math is anything short of the coolest thing on the block,” Oldton said. “I just want kids to get jiggy with joint variations and hit the quan on quantitative values like I do. If not, they’re all gettings Fs.”
