Sophomore Rose Thluai shares her passion for the flute
I think playing the flute taught me a little bit of self-discipline because I had to practice on my own at home in order to improve. I think that is a skill that I can carry into my future. I’m planning on playing the flute if I go to college and I have time in my schedule. I’m planning to play in a college band, and keep with it because I really do like it. I really enjoyed learning new songs and playing because it was a really fun experience, as well as being able to make new friends and bond with people who were in the band. And I think that’s what kept me playing.
