The Journal Rewired

Megan Rogers

Megan Rogers, News Editor

Hey everyone! My name is Megan and I am the News Editor for The Journal this year. Last year, I was a foreign language writer and a news writer. I enjoyed my time on staff last year, and I am very excited to lead the News section this year!Outside of The Journal, I spend most of my time working on other school work or I’m at my job. I enjoy listening to music, reading, watching Netflix and hanging out with my family. I like almost all types of music, but I really enjoy Taylor Swift. My favorite TV show is probably “Wynonna Earp”, and my favorite book series is either “Harry Potter” or “Twilight.” I also love watching holiday movies when they start in October. I have five siblings, two cats, a dog and 12 fish. I had a great summer filled with travel, friends, family and of course a lot of working and relaxing. I went on a trip to Florida and also took summer classes. Unlike most, I really enjoy school and am very happy to be back. My favorite subject is math, but my favorite class is definitely The Journal! I love travelling and I’ve been to Germany, England and multiple different fun places in the U.S. I think this year's Journal staff is going to produce great work, and I am very excited to see what we can all do together.
