The SHS Cardinals play Thursday against the Bedford North Lawrence Stars in SHS Fieldhouse at 7:30 in the evening.

The Cardinals are going into the game with a 17-2 record having lost to Lawrence North and Pike.  The Stars enter the game Thursday with a 8-12 record having lost five of their 12 losses by five or less points.

To prepare for this non-conference game, the Cards have been trying new things at practice such as including new plays and have been having more fun playing the game.

“We been doing different drills, more laughter (and) having fun with the game,” Jamie Burnett said.

The Cards plan to use their recent practices and the game against the Stars. They will to use this game to build chemistry and to run their offensive and defensive sets better according to Burnett.
