“Viva Las Vegas,” were the famous words that Travis Kelce sang, while celebrating the Chiefs win over the San Francisco 49ers, on the podium.

Many fans were outraged by Kelce’s performance and some even say famous singer Taylor Swift got the “ick” when he said this. Kelce left people angry  in the comments of his performance.

“Next song; had a man he was hot, heard him sing and now he’s not, ” a comment said. 

Fans are starting to think that this relationship is a PR relationship, a relationship that is not for love but simply for publicity.  The relationship is either to promote something, hide something or distract from a scandal. 

When it comes to PR Relationships, many unethical reporters exploit the relationships of celebrities, but rather than celebrities enjoying the affection a relationship brings, they enjoy the fame it brings to their life. 

Couples such as Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner and last but not least, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are assumed to be PR Couples. 

Timothée Chalamet  and Kylie Jenner are arguably the most unexpected couple ever since Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian. The rumors started to spark in April 2023 that they were together but it wasn’t confirmed until September. 

Many fans think the relationship between the two is inappropriate because Chalamet looks younger than he actually is, yet he is one year older than Jenner. 

According to The Independent Newspaper,  “While Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have been much more discrete with their romance, that hasn’t stopped the public from sniffing out their relationship as a potential PR stunt.” 

The same situation goes for Swift and Kelce, many believe  that they are only together to bring their fame up a level. Some even claim that her and her Super Bowl winning boyfriend are the key assets to help Joe Biden get reelected this year. 

In another article by The Independent Newspaper, “Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, the reigning supreme of this year’s celebrity couples, were largely the subject of publicity stunt rumors … However, chronically online users believed the couple was manufactured to catapult not one but both Swift and Kelce into higher levels of fame.” 

Many fans are outraged by the new couples, especially Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez, fans are saying she “deserves better, ” and Blanco is “too immature,” for Gomez. 

“When you can’t answer a troll’s riddle so now you have to stay with him,”  a comment stated. 

Time can  only tell how long these couples will last.
