It is difficult to keep up with this long list, and it can even be a little nerve-wracking. But, there is something missing that is even more stressful than any of those on the list. Senior photos. There is nothing worse than not being able to document your journey as a rising senior with a few photos. If you don’t know where to go, never fear, here are a few locations to book your first or next senior photo session at!
Holcomb Gardens
To start off our list, we will delve into the beauty of nature! Located at Butler University, Holcomb Gardens stretches over 20 acres of land. It is on a hillside, giving you a view of the Indianapolis Central Canal. A lake, a gardenhouse, a gazebo, the Poet’s Corner, the Philosopher’s Bench and a statue of Persephone call Holcomb home. The park has numerous places within itself to take photos, and you can even take a stroll if you want to after your session. Check out Holcomb Gardens if you want to take in the greenery one last time before the fall.
Coxhall Gardens
Going north from Indianapolis to Carmel is home to Coxhall Gardens. Just like Holcomb, Coxhall has many things to offer to its visitors. Lastly, the closest one on the list is downtown Indianapolis. There are various spots to shoot some photos. If you know anything about Indy, you would definitely know the heart of the city: Monument Circle. The area is riddled with different shops and restaurants leading to it, giving it a lively feel. A few other spots worth checking out are the other few monuments around downtown, the Central Canal, the Statehouse and its surrounding scenery. If this is your first time taking your senior photos, downtown Indy is definitely worth looking into.
