Pacers need a win to keep series alive

Luke Manning, Reporter

The Indiana Pacers will look to bounce back in game six tonight. The Pacers have played an up and down series, looking like a different team every game they’ve play. Indiana will need to take care of business at home tonight if they want to extend the series to game seven.

Indiana has to have big play from Paul George if they want to win. It is a must have and they just can’t win without it. George practically carried the team on his back in game five with 39 points. By having a big game, I mean him scoring 25 or more. When George scores this much, it gives Indiana a cushion. In both games that the Pacers won he had 19 and 33 points. Average of 25.5

However, George can’t be the only one to play well. The Pacers starters have to have help from their bench. There was no help in game five down the stretch of the game.  We scored only 19 bench points in game five. Since the Pacers lost 102-99, all they needed was 4 more bench points which is 23 bench points. Even if the Pacers had 23 bench points that is not enough to consistently win games.
The Pacers will get the win tonight if George has an All-Star caliber game and his bench is there to support him and his team. The game will tip off tonight at 7:30 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
