Fantasy Football Must Haves

Fantasy has started. This is the time where we will start arguing with our close friends over a trade that may or may not be worth it. Lets put down our computers while I show you who will be the best at their position this fantasy season.

QB

Lets face it. The best quarterback WILL be Nick Foles. Facts do not lie. He threw 27 touchdowns last season as a bench player. It just took the injury of Michael Vick for him to unleash his true power. I think that the Eagles can go as far as the late playoffs with Foles leading their team. This does not even account for the monster running back that the Eagles have.

RB

Everyone can argue who they think is going to be the best running back. Whether you think it will be LeSean McCoy, Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte or Jamaal Charles, you have your own opinion. I think the best running back this season will be Jamaal Charles. He is a force to be reckoned with. He is ruthless. He has the stats to show it. He can catch the ball as easily as he runs it. He had the most touchdowns of his career last season, by rushing and receiving. This season will be the same.

WR

This might come off as a surprise. I think Calvin Johnson is a phenomenal player. He has shown time and time again that he is probably the best. But A.J. Green is running with the best of them. I think Green will go off this season. Andy Dalton is a good quarterback, and Green will be his main target. Green has the stats to show he is one of the best. His stats are almost identical to that of Johnson’s. Green was one of my main players last year, I’m just sad that I do not have him on my team this season.

TE

The tight end that will do the best this season is Antonio Gates. He will lead the Chargers to the Super Bowl this season. I was joking. Is this even worth asking? We all know that Jimmy Graham will do the best. Him and Drew Brees are one of the best duos in the NFL. There is nothing like seeing him get a touchdown and bending the field goal post. He will go far this season, farther he has ever gone before, and it will not be surprising.

K

The kicker does not make as many points as the other positions, but that does not mean they are not important. They can be the game changer in the close games that we all despise. I do not want a kicker that is riskey. I want a kicker that can put up good, consistent points each week. My kicker of choice is Adam Vinatieri. He is the one of the best kickers in the league, and has been for almost two decades.

DEF

This is a hard choice. I do not know whether to put Seattle or Carolina as my favorite defense. I am torn between the two. Richard Sherman will lead the Seattle defense for another year. But Carolina, led by Luke Kuechly, will be a good contender. If you have either of these defenses on your team, you will be solid.

I know not everyone will agree with my decisions, but this would be a perfect team for me. There are many players I wish I could have put in my list, they just did not make the cut. Let me know what you think of my choices and what would be your perfect team.
