Signifying the opening of the new Colts Challenge and Fitness Park, a ribbon was cut Sept. 6 within Riverside park. The park’s goal is to encourage people to be active at least 60 minutes everyday, going along with the NFL PLAY 60 campaign. To reach its goal, the park offers 5,000 square feet of exercise equipment, a 40-yard dash and space to “PLAY 60.”
The park was funded by the Indianapolis Colts Foundation according to the RTV-6. Funding came from the 50/50 game day raffle where one fan receives half of the earnings that day and the other half goes to the Indianapolis Colts foundation.
