The U.S. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, and the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, met Wednesday, April 12 in Moscow after the U.S. missile strike in Syria. President Donald Trump, stated that Russia had vetoed a proposal to help bring an end to the tensions in Syria at a UN Security Council meeting, due to the fact that President Bashar al-Assad of Syria is backed by Russia.

One thing they do agree on is that tensions between Russia and the U.S. are high, according to Trump, who also claims that their relationship is “at an all-time-low.”
