Sophomore Zoey Garner's sister, Lily, who loves crowds, speaks at RDM to a group of about 140. Her mother explained that when Lily was a baby, she was in and out of Riley Hospital with various problems, but that for the past two years she has been problem free. Her mother says she is thankful for Riley and explained that "they were always just a call away."

Junior Madison Haag participates in a game during RDM. During this game, dancers gathered in groups, and one group was "it." As the "it" group tagged others, they had to link arms making the group larger. This was one of many games played during the duration of the eight-hour marathon.

Students participate in one of the games at the marathon. Throughout the night, dancers listened to current and former Riley Hospital patients tell their stories, play group games and do crafts.

This year's RDM was held on Friday, April 20. The theme was "Dr. Seuss." Following up to the marathon, students part of RDM raise money to go towards Riley Hospital. This year, they broke their goal of $40,000 by $15,000.24.

Senior Joshua Thang does a flip after being cheered on to do so. In between the first and second rotation, students formed a circle for people to show their skills.

A dancer gets her face painted during the second rotation. Many students either got a Dr. Seuss themed painting on their cheek or the Riley Hospital logo.

Sophomores Payton Cheatham (standing) and Josh Moore do a flip in the circle at RDM. Like Thang, this was a chance for them to show their skills.

Fishers High School graduates Courtney Neely, Brandon Hughes, Drew Chaffee and J.D. Hughes perform on stage during the marathon. Their band, Midnight Run, has played at multiple other Riley Dance Marathons.

Junior Alondra Arriaga-Rosales dances with Riley patient Lily Garner. Every year, RDM dancers include patients in the activities, since it is "FTK."
