Niina Toma

Niina Toma, Culture Reporter

Hello! My name is Niina Toma. I am an exchange student from Okinawa in Japan. It is a tropical island, so I have never played in snow. I am looking forward to seeing snow in the U.S. I was a member of the Kendo club. Kendo is a Japanese traditional sport. It is one of the martial arts. I am a junior in high school. I am 16 years old. I am going to stay here for 10 months. I want to have a lot of experiences. My family and my friends are in Okinawa. I miss them, but I have a new family in America. They are my host parents. I love them! Before I come back to Japan, I would like to communicate with a lot of people. Please talk with me a lot. Nice to meet you!!
