Shelby Reeves, Reporter
Hi! Welcome to Chili’s or my bio whatever you prefer. My name is Shelby Reeves, I’m a senior and a News Reporter here on The Journal. When people first see me they notice that I’m A: tall, and B: blonde. Both which are true (I’m 5’10’’ if you were wondering). I’ve moved from five states and have been to a total of seven different schools, which means I’m a military brat. In my free time, I love to read and write books, I work for our school’s IMC and am one of the leaders of the school’s book club. So if you are ever in need of a book recommendation, I got you! When I get out of high school, I would love to go to college and study English and a minor in film so I have the ability to become a screenwriter for TV and adapt my favorite books. After college, I would love to travel the world! Countries I would love to see include: Ireland, Greece, France, Spain and many more. I just love being adventurous and experiencing new cultures. Just a fun little goal of mine, after settling down, is to be able to own a sunflower farm outside of Indiana. I hope you learned a little more about me and I can’t wait for the magic we produce this year on The Journal!
