Hello, there! My name is Dylan Torres. I am a senior at SHS and a newcomer to The Journal staff as a features writer! My favorite subject in school is language arts, which may explain my admiration for writing. However, when I am not working on The Journal, I participate in other activities at school: Cardinal Compass and Cardinal Cadre, which both aim to guide and provide help to others as a community. At home, I love to spend time with my family, including playing video games with my brothers, going to museums as a family and just sitting around the dinner table to talk about our busy days. Aside from all of that, I enjoy napping sessions of sizes- I don’t discriminate. Whether it would be fifteen minutes on the bus ride home after school or an hour in my bed, I fully embrace the excuse that is “resting my eyes.”
