Q&A with new band teacher Jeff Maupin
Band teacher Jeff Maupin indicates to the Marching Band that they will not be repeating the section of music they’re playing. The band had been practicing pep band music in anticipation for the game.
Why did you come to SHS?
“It seemed like a great school to be a part of and there’s a lot of potential in the program.”
Any plans for the band program?
“Marching band is preparing for their season. We’re excited to be playing again.”
What are your goals for this year?
“Me personally, I just want kids to have a good time and get better at their instruments.”
