Christmas cookies with Mammaw

Salted Caramel Fudge Drops are the perfect cookies to bring to holiday get-togethers. The amount of caramel, sea salt and chocolate all work together to make this amazing sweet treat.

– 6 oz unsweetened chocolate

– 1/3 cups of butter cubed

– 17 ½ oz sugar cookie mix
– 1 large egg
– 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
– 1 TBSP vanilla
– 48 caramel-filled chocolate candies- Coarsely ground sea salt



Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt unsweetened chocolate and butter in the microwave: stir until smooth. In a large bowl, beat cookie mix, egg, milk, vanilla and chocolate mixture. Use tablespoonfuls to measure the cookie and arrange the cookies two inches a part on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for eight to 10 minutes or until the edges are crisp. Press the caramel-filled candies into the center of each cookie. Let stand for two minutes and then sprinkle with salt. Remove from pans to wire racks and cool completely.
