Chocolate chip cheeseball
A simple recipe for a sweet treat
If you’re looking for a simple recipe that is similar to a red velvet cupcake but unique, this is the recipe for you! This is the perfect dish to bring to an event like a family gathering, potluck, a picnic, etc! This can be served as a dip with graham crackers, or eaten with a spoon.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces of cream cheese, room temperature
- ½ cup butter, room temperature
- 1 ½ cups of red velvet cake mix, dry
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of. brown sugar
- Half a bag of chocolate chips, semi-sweet
- Graham crackers – for dipping
Steps
- Mix together the dry ingredients (powdered sugar, red velvet cake mix and brown sugar)
- Add the wet ingredients (butter and cream cheese) and mix until it’s a similar consistency to a dough
- Saran wrap the mixture in a ball
- Leave in the fridge for 2 hours or over night
- Take out of saran wrap and roll in chocolate chips
- Then eat with graham crackers or on it’s own
