The boys cross country  team won many races, and they also attained their goals this season, coach Herman Bueno says.

“It was our best of the 3 teams that I have coached (at SHS),” Bueno said. ”We finished with a season record of 126-30.“

According to Bueno, their most significant accomplishments this season were winning the Richmond and Flashrock Invitationals, which were held on Aug. 20 and Sept. 17 respectively. He set five team goals and 12 individual goals at the beginning of this season, and 15 of them. There goals were about improving their scores and time, and compete better in the Invitationals and Sectional than last year.  He says that 15 of the goals  were accomplished during the season.
