The Journal Rewired

Alyssa Cook, Head Artist

Hey, y’all! I’m Alyssa Cook, a senior, and I’m so glad to be a part of The Journal for my third and final year. I’m also incredibly grateful to be the Head Artist for this year’s staff! I absolutely can not wait to see what this year has to throw at me and The Journal. Wow, how the time has flown by… a bit too fast if you ask me …Jokes aside, I am majorly excited for this year and its entirety! For me, it’s always been a bit hard to express myself through words, and art has always been a means to help my feelings and thoughts be expressed more easily. It’s overall just a way to express all parts of myself! And if there’s any advice that I could give to anyone, especially younger me, don’t hesitate to try new things and participate in what you really want to. You never know where those actions may take you! <3
