David Masengale, Reporter
Hello there, I am David Masengale. I am a senior this year at SHS. This is my first year on The Journal and I am so excited to be a part of it. I am a Sports Reporter and a Photographer. Usually after school you can find me hanging out with friends in the theater room. I love being in theater. I love musicals and my favorite musical is “Be More Chill.” I am part of the Advanced Orchestra. This will be my third year in the Advanced Orchestra. My favorite concert is the Halloween concert because Mr. Wright lets us dress up in costumes to perform. I am also involved with the White River Academic League and the Men’s Volleyball team. I am the team captain on the academic team. In volleyball I play middle hitter/blocker. After high school I plan on going to Ball State University to study either photography or photojournalism. My dream job is to be an ambassador for Nikon or be a photographer for National Geographic. I love to travel and both of these jobs would allow me to travel around the world to follow my passion. I can not wait to have a blast with my senior year!
