Hi! My name is Leyda; I am a sophomore. This is my first year being on The Journal as a Features writer. I am so excited to be a part of The Journal. I remember it like it was yesterday: sitting in my 8th grade Language Arts class listening to Mr. K talk about taking Journalism the following year. I made the decision to take Journalism my freshman year (it was the best choice I made and I had so much fun!) Now taking all the knowledge I learned from Journalism, I bring it all with me to The Journal. You can find me mostly going out with friends and having such a great time. But in my free time, when I’m not out with friends, I enjoy baking and cooking any kind of food or dessert. Anyways, I am so excited to see where I am headed in The Journal!
