Hi everyone! My name is Leyda Chavez-Lopez, and I’m a junior. This year, I am one of the Social Media Managers. Last year, I was a Features Reporter which happened to be a bumpy ride, but overall I had a great experience. I’m so excited to be back and better than before. I can’t wait to show everyone what we have in store here on The Journal! But for now, in my free time, when I am worry free from The Journal, I love to bake and cook for my loved ones, especially when I make them sweet treats I know they’ll enjoy eating! The Journal has become a familiar place of mine that I’d like to consider as a home.
