Hello! My name is Max Castro, and I’m a junior on The Journal. I’m working as one of the photographers this year. This is my second year on The Journal, and I’m excited to work with everybody again. The main things you should know about me is that writing is definitely a passion of mine, even if I’m not a writer, and photography is definitely something I’m interested in, especially with all the things one can create with it. Hi everyone! My name is Leyda Chavez-Lopez, and I’m a junior. This year, I am one of the Social Media Managers. Last year, I was a Features Reporter which happened to be a bumpy ride, but overall I had a great experience. I’m so excited to be back and better than before. I can’t wait to show everyone what we have in store here on The Journal! But for now, in my free time, when I am worry free from The Journal, I love to bake and cook for my loved ones, especially when I make them sweet treats I know they’ll enjoy eating! The Journal has become a familiar place of mine that I’d like to consider as a home.
