The Journal Rewired

Lizzie Forrester

Lizzie Forrester, Sports Reporter

Hey beautiful people! My name is Lizzie Forrester, and I’m a Sports Writer this year. I’m a sophomore and this will be my first year writing for The Journal. Besides The Journal, I’m a part of theater, the girls soccer team, the girls lacrosse team and The Anchor.  In soccer, I am a defender, but in lacrosse I’m a midfielder or attacker. Originally I wasn’t supposed to play midfield, but Coach Frantz insisted, and I ended up winning “most valuable midfielder.” I enjoy writing stories, spray painting, hanging out with my friends and being active in general. When I’m with my friends, we usually play board games, watch movies and go shopping. I also love listening to music and creating new playlists. I would like to learn the guitar to add to my musical love, but I can’t seem to find the time in my schedule. My favorite artists are AJR, The Wrecks and Coastal Club. I absolutely obsess over Marvel and try to collect whatever I can from the fandom. My favorite character is Tony Stark, and I relate to his sarcasm. I’m a super artistic person, and I love finding different ways to express myself. Acting is my favorite way of being expressive, and I’ve been acting since I was in sixth grade. I’m excited to be a part of The Journal this year, and I can’t wait to grow as a writer!
