Hello, my name is Chad Smith and I am a first year writer for The Journal. I am also a senior, so I’m trying to make up for lost time, slowly but surely learning the trades of this craft. At Southport I am involved in music and theater, although I could never put those two things together. In my free time I love to play music and hang out with friends, and I’m always up for an adventure. Also I’m super excited to be a part of the Journal staff this year!
