Our first episode of The Circuit this year is all about new beginnings whether it has to do with The Journal’s new production cycle or the Homecoming Parade alternative due to cancellation. Hey guys! I’m Jimena Velazquez, and this is my second year on The Journal. This year, I have the honor of coming back as the Podcast Producer! I’m so excited for this opportunity and can’t wait for all the amazing stuff planned out for this year’s podcast. Aside from being a part of The Journal, I really enjoy playing the cello in Orchestra and diving deep into books of all genres. Spending time with friends and family is also one of my favorite things to do, as well as listening to music. As we head further into the school year, I can’t wait for everyone to see all the amazing work The Journal will produce this year!
