Carter McDonough, News Reporter
So, I’m Carter McDonough, a News writer. I don’t exactly know how I got here, but here I am. Last year The Journal staff came to my English class and gave a presentation on the class. Afterwards, I went to Mr.K to ask some questions about said class. Unbeknownst to me, I ended up signing up for the newspaper staff for this year, thinking “I’ll do Journalism One this year, and try for staff next year.” I’ve been involved in a few clubs in the past: Robotics, W.R.A.L. and Jazz Orchestra come to mind in particular, and I plan to continue with these ventures. At some point in time, I had a conversation with Mr. Snodgrass about The Journal. I particularly thought that the claim of it being the best club or class in the school was a tad bit arrogant. His response to me was something along the lines of, you can always talk to Mr. K if you disagree. Somehow I ended up joining the group instead. You're always welcome to do the same, our door is always open. Either way, it’s a good time to say goodbye for now. I’ll see you in next issue.
