Eli Beck, Content Managing Editor
Hey! My name is Eli Beck and this year I will be the Content Managing Editor for The Journal. This will be my third year on The Journal. I spent my first year as a Sports Reporter, and my second year as the Sports Editor. I am excited to begin this year with a new role on staff, and see the amazing work that The Journal will be able to produce throughout the school year. Here at SHS, I am a Booster Club member, and also play baseball. I love spending my time on the field with my friends during the spring season. Outside of school, I spend lots of time around my family, and I especially love spending time with our golden retriever, Clyde. I also spend a majority of my free time checking up on all the latest sports news. I am always sure to catch any trade, free agency signing or final score for any of my favorite teams, including the Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers. My favorite sports event every year is March Madness, and it was amazing for Indianapolis to have the opportunity to host the event this past year. I have loved the time I spent on The Journal, and can’t wait for my final year as a member of the staff.
