Niang Lun

Niang Lun, A&E Editor

Hi everyone! My name is Niang Lun, and it is good to be back here on The Journal. I am taking on my final year of being in Southport, and I am beyond excited to be the editor of the Arts & Entertainment section. The Journal has taught me so many different things that I am ready to apply to the real world after high school. I am thrilled to have another opportunity to be able to bring something to this wonderful publication. Outside of The Journal, I am involved in Cardinal Cadre, National Honor Society, Key Club, Young Life, Myanmar Student Association and many other clubs at this school. I love to volunteer during my free time wherever and whenever I can! I currently volunteer consistently at the Greenwood Public Library during the days that I am not overwhelmed with school work and activities. When I am not involved with school, you can find me working with senior citizens for my part-time job. Since this will be my last staff bio on The Journal, I want to remind everyone to work hard and take advantage of every opportunity!

The food court in the mall can be seen with no one in sight on Aug. 12. After the mass shooting at the mall, an empty food court was a common sight.
