Recipe: cheesy gluten free biscuits


The biscuits are a great, savory option for anyone who is gluten intolerant or trying to do a keto or low carb diet. They were easy to make and were a fun switch up from regular biscuits.



  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika, plus more for sprinkling on top



  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Put butter and cheese in a bowl and microwave for about 1 minute, or until the butter is melted and the two ingredients start to come together. Mix them. They won’t completely combine, but just get them mixed together as well as you can.
  3. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix.
  4. Using a ¼ cup measuring cup, place the batter onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  5. If needed, use your hands to reshape the biscuits into disks.
  6. Sprinkle the tops of the biscuits with paprika.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
