Recipe: cheesy gluten free biscuits
The biscuits are a great, savory option for anyone who is gluten intolerant or trying to do a keto or low carb diet. They were easy to make and were a fun switch up from regular biscuits.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups almond flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon paprika, plus more for sprinkling on top
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Put butter and cheese in a bowl and microwave for about 1 minute, or until the butter is melted and the two ingredients start to come together. Mix them. They won’t completely combine, but just get them mixed together as well as you can.
- Add in the remaining ingredients and mix.
- Using a ¼ cup measuring cup, place the batter onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- If needed, use your hands to reshape the biscuits into disks.
- Sprinkle the tops of the biscuits with paprika.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
