The Journal Rewired

Lucy Hiller

Lucy Hiller, Reporter

Hi! I’m Lucy Hiller and I’m a sophomore this year. This is my first year on The Journal and I’m a features writer. I’m super excited for this opportunity to explore something so new! I tend to be a math and science person, so this is a little out of my comfort zone, but I know that it’ll be a blast. I love sports and I’m on the cross country, swimming and track teams at SHS. I also love to run with my dad, we’ve even done three half marathons together. Outside of school I enjoy playing piano, which I’ve taken lessons for since I was little. I also love to experiment with all types of cooking, and I have an Instagram page of the meals I prepare. My favorite food right now is greek yogurt bowls with tons of fruit and granola. I’m also currently working on learning to make sourdough with the help of my sourdough starter, Selvester. I also enjoy reading and journaling. I have a pretty big six-person family. My older siblings Becca and Daniel graduated from SHS and my younger sister, Lydia, is an eighth grader. My family is super close and we love going on walks with our dog, Benny, hanging out together and getting way too competitive on board games. I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about me and have a great time exploring the rest of what The Journal has to offer!
