Spooky Snacks: Ghost Oreo balls

Final product

Ingredients:
36 Oreo cookies (one package)
8 ounces of cream cheese (one package)
2 cups of white melting chocolate
½ cup of black melting chocolate or black edible marker

 

Step 3

1. Crush oreo cookies in a food processor or plastic bag into fine crumbs.

2. Combine the package of cream cheese with the Oreo crumbs. The mixture should become truffle like.

3. Press the mixture into a ghost mold or form into ghost shapes with your fingers. Refrigerate the ghosts or freeze for 20 minutes to speed up the process.

4. Melt the white chocolate according to the directions. Remove the ghosts from chilling and dip them into the white chocolate. Make sure the ghosts aren’t too cold or the chocolate is too hot to avoid melting.

5. Dip the ghosts in the white chocolate, making sure they are properly coated.

6. Place the dipped ghosts on a pan and chill for 10-20 minutes.

7. Using the black chocolate or edible pen, create a face for each ghost.

8. Keep the ghosts refrigerated until ready to serve or eat.
